Plagiarism Screening

Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Azzahro (JPIA) strictly prohibits plagiarism in all forms. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

To ensure academic integrity, all submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review process. The editorial team examines each manuscript to verify the originality of the work.

Authors are expected to properly cite and acknowledge the work of others. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or improper citation, is considered unethical and unacceptable.

In general, manuscripts submitted to JPIA should not exceed a similarity index of 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.

If a manuscript is found to contain a high level of similarity, it will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the editorial board.

If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the editorial board has the right to retract the article and take appropriate actions in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy.

JPIA is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all published articles meet the highest standards of scholarly ethics.
