Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, conceptual papers, and literature reviews to Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Azzahro (JPIA). Manuscripts submitted to this journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process.

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Manuscripts must follow the JPIA article template provided by the journal.

General formatting requirements:

• Font: Book Antiqua  
• Font size: 12 pt  
• Line spacing: Single spacing  
• Minimum length: 6000 words (excluding references)  
• Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia  
• References must follow APA Style (7th Edition)

ARTICLE STRUCTURE

Manuscripts must follow the structure below:

• Title (maximum 14 words)  
• Author name(s) and affiliation(s)  
• Corresponding author (name, email, ORCID)  
• Abstract (150–250 words)  
• Keywords (3–5 keywords)  
• Introduction  
• Research Method  
• Results  
• Discussion  
• Conclusion  
• Acknowledgment (optional)  
• References

ABSTRACT

The abstract must be written in English and consist of 150–250 words in a single paragraph. It should clearly present the research objectives, research methods, main findings, discussion, and implications of the study.

KEYWORDS

Provide 3–5 keywords representing the main topics of the article.

REFERENCES

References must follow APA Style (7th Edition) with the following requirements:

• Minimum 15 references  
• At least 70% from scientific journal articles  
• At least 70% published within the last 10 years

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley.

PLAGIARISM POLICY

All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software. The similarity index must not exceed 20%.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements before proceeding to the next step.

• The manuscript fits the Focus and Scope of Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Azzahro (JPIA).

• The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication in another journal.

• The manuscript file is prepared using the JPIA article template.

• The manuscript is written using Book Antiqua font, 12 pt, with single spacing.

• The manuscript includes the following sections:
  Title, Author(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Research Method, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

• The abstract is written in English and consists of 150–250 words.

• The manuscript contains a minimum of 6000 words (excluding references).

• References follow APA Style (7th Edition).

• The manuscript includes at least 15 references, with at least 70% from scientific journal articles and 70% published within the last 10 years.

• The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism and the similarity index does not exceed 20%.

• All authors have agreed to the submission of this manuscript.

Editorial

This section contains editorial introductions written by the editor to present the theme, scope, and scholarly contributions of each issue of Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Azzahro (JPIA). The editorial provides an overview of the articles published in the issue and highlights their relevance to the development of Islamic education studies.
