Publication Ethics
Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance (JIEF) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This journal follows ethical standards based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Duties of Authors Authors must ensure that their submitted manuscripts are original works that have not been published elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should present accurate data and avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification. Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal. Duties of Editors Editors are responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published. Editors evaluate manuscripts based on academic merit without regard to race, gender, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts. Duties of Reviewers Reviewers assist the editors in making editorial decisions through objective evaluation. Reviewers should maintain confidentiality regarding the manuscripts they review and must not use unpublished materials for personal research. Publication Misconduct Any form of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices will result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.
